Yeshua, "The Good King"

Updated: Jul 26, 2022

Yeshua HaMashiach, known to us as Jesus the Messiah is the King of ALL! Not only is He the King but He is the most remarkable King who ever lived. He is not bound to earthly shortcomings and fears as a man. He does not need to please others, does not fear reproach, does not have limited sight of all aspects of an issue, and does not suffer from a limited understanding of what needs to be done in order to rectify a problem.

Yeshua encompasses all of the best qualities in an earthly king who is good and righteous and surpasses that beyond measure. If king David of the old testament was a good king, even with his human failures, how much does King Yeshua exceed that measure?

David fought for his people as their defender. He prayed for his people and led them in worship as a priest. He gave up people and things dear to him for his beliefs/faith. He showed mercy when it was due and went to war when it was time. Many kings have come and gone but our King reigns forever on the throne of David and the throne of all creation.

We see this in Luke 1:32-33, "He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” (NKJV)

I started writing this blog post and then needed to leave for a scheduled time of prayer and as I drove I felt a strong sense of the power and fire upon the words that I was hearing. God continued to speak to me about the matter once I was settled in to pray.

Take heed and listen to what He has to say.

As I worshipped I heard him address this issue in a way that is not the norm between us. We converse often and He tells me things to share but as I was flagging he emphasized what he had been speaking. I was flagging and worshipping and I heard "Thus saith The Lord, I contend for what is mine, and fight for what is mine".

According to Miriam Webster's Dictionary "to contend can also mean to assert, as in authority. to state or declare positively and often forcefully or aggressively.

b: to compel or demand acceptance or recognition of (something, such as one's authority)".

Miriam Webster's Dictionary says to fight, intransitive verb 1a: to contend in battle or physical combat especially : to strive to overcome a person by blows or weapons...b: to engage in boxing... 2: to put forth a determined effort."

What would you give for someone to stand up for you in this way?

Let me now go back and explain more of the several pages that I wrote during this afternoon's time with Him.

King Yeshua will provide for His people. defend what is His, and stand against any enemy in the way of His plan. Just as a good king in the earth will fight for, provide for, lead, guide, and give his life for his people, our Heavenly King will do this and more. He will bless and provide for those who are in His Kingdom. He watches over, leads, guides, and fights for those in His Kingdom and He has already given his life for us, what more would say "I love you"?

BUT...For those who oppose Him, those that are evil and ascribe to evil ways, woe to you. King Yeshua is fierce and mighty in His defense of what is His. Do not think that evil is hidden from His sight. That His arm is too short to reach you or that He will allow you to continue your attack on innocent victims.

The slaughter of babies, evil acts perpetrated against men, women, and children by those following false gods, and the attack on His Body, and Israel, His holy city, will not be overlooked.

Heed the warning from the King of Kings. Repent and turn away from these evil acts.

The Lord is loving and kind but do not underestimate the fierce devotion of a King for His people. For the unending love that He shows His people. Do not assume that He can not see you and that He can not undo every plan of the enemy at will.

God will prevail. King Yeshua has won. Know that if you are outside of His Kingdom your time to turn is now. Repent and turn away from the evil. God is just to forgive and take you in with love and mercy. He will love you as no other. Then as part of His body, He will fight as fiercely for you as He does for all others who love and trust Him.

Life can be hard, but with God even the lowest place is not compared to a life apart from Him. The lonely, tormenting, fearful place you are in now is what the enemy offers. Choose King Yeshua today and accept His peace, love, joy, and deep healing.

It may or may not happen all at once. You may have to push through, but He will be with you and you will never be alone. He also sends people into your life to assist you. He will fulfill His will in your life if you allow Him to have control. His plan, His timing.

As I worshipped today I also played my South African drum. (He had me buy this on my trip in 2019). As I played, the drum was like a heartbeat. His heart...He wants us as the Body of Christ to hear His heart and be as one. To move as one, believe as one, and have faith as one. It was as though He was joining us together as one with one heartbeat. He is also calling His warriors into action.

Unity is key, act as one, move as one, believe as one, have faith as one. NO jealousy, contentions, gossip, or competition.

Act as one in love, fighting for The Kingdom and one another. Hear His Heart. "Thus saith the Lord, I contend for what is mine, I fight for what is mine".

The enemy will not prevail! All of those who are against the Kingdom of God will be removed. They will not prosper and will be brought to a place of acknowledging Yeshua as King of kings and Lord of lords. They will be removed from power. The King will defend His own.

Luke 1: 46-55, And Mary said:

“My soul magnifies the Lord,

47And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.

48For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant;

For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.

49For He who is mighty has done great things for me,

And holy is His name.

50And His mercy is on those who fear Him

From generation to generation.

51He has shown strength with His arm;

He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

52He has put down the mighty from their thrones,

And exalted the lowly.

53He has filled the hungry with good things,

And the rich He has sent away empty.

54He has helped His servant Israel,

In remembrance of His mercy,

55As He spoke to our fathers,

To Abraham and to his seed forever.” (NKJV)

We are grafted into the family tree when we come into the Kingdom of God. Mary, the mother of Yeshua, said what needed to be said.

The harvest is great. Many are called. Pray that they will respond with a yes. The great harvest is near. Train your children for things to come. Teach them to walk according to The Holy Spirit. A great outpouring is upon us. Guard your heart against the ploys of the enemy. "Pray without ceasing-Stay in Me" says the Lord.

He is cutting down His enemies. They will not prevail. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV). God knows the heart and those who are sold out to evil will be removed by Him.

Lord, I pray that you will free your people from every chain, every tormenting spirit, every heartache, every bit of unforgiveness, bitterness, and pride, and help them to be free!!!

Forgive us all for falling short. Thank you for your pure love that gives us freedom. Lord, guard us in all of our ways. Give us ears to hear your voice and eyes to see your hand at work. Help us to obey and not rebel. Send us out to fulfill your plan in the earth. We seek after you. We want more of your presence in our lives. We want time with you. To see your face before us and hear your voice behind us telling us where to go. Isaiah 30:21, "Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left. (NKJV)

Isaiah 55 Ho! Everyone who thirsts,

Come to the waters;

And you who have no money,

Come, buy and eat.

Yes, come, buy wine and milk

Without money and without price.

2Why do you spend money for what is not bread,

And your wages for what does not satisfy?

Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,

And let your soul delight itself in abundance.

3Incline your ear, and come to Me.

Hear, and your soul shall live;

And I will make an everlasting covenant with you—

The sure mercies of David.

4Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people,

A leader and commander for the people.

5Surely you shall call a nation you do not know,

And nations who do not know you shall run to you,

Because of the Lord your God,

And the Holy One of Israel;

For He has glorified you.”

6Seek the Lord while He may be found,

Call upon Him while He is near.

7Let the wicked forsake his way,

And the unrighteous man his thoughts;

Let him return to the Lord,

And He will have mercy on him;

And to our God,

For He will abundantly pardon.

8“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

9“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways,

And My thoughts than your thoughts.

10“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,

And do not return there,

But water the earth,

And make it bring forth and bud,

That it may give seed to the sower

And bread to the eater,

11So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;

It shall not return to Me void,

But it shall accomplish what I please,

And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

12“For you shall go out with joy,

And be led out with peace;

The mountains and the hills

Shall break forth into singing before you,

And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

13Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree,

And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree;

And it shall be to the Lord for a name,

For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” (NKJV)

Call on the name of the Lord and be saved. Do not wait for tomorrow. You are not promised tomorrow. Seek Him while He may be found. He is merciful, you have not gone so far from him that He can not reach you and your sin is not too ugly for His love to cleanse you. Call out to Yeshua (Jesus), the Messiah. Our Savior and confess your sins. He has already done the work of the cross, the blood He shed was for you. His loving arms are waiting to receive you. Come now!!

In His Love,

Charissa
