Last night I was on a prayer call and during worship, I was pouring out my heart to God. I saw an eagle shedding all of its feathers, talons, beak, and starting fresh. There is a tale that I became aware of several years ago about the eagle. This is said to be a fable, but this example was given during a very difficult time. I won't go into the full story here and now, it took years to unfold, but in essence, the eagle would shut itself into a cave high up to be safe and would shed and regrow its feathers, beak, and talons. I am sharing this now, in this way because many spiritual warriors are feeling battle weary. You may feel like this fabled eagle, that has shut itself away and lost everything. Maybe you are feeling hopeless, helpless, and defenseless. I am here to bring good news!!
Following that visual, I kept hearing RENEWAL. I looked up the word renewal and I want to share those definitions with you.
Google Dictionary,(2020), "noun, an instance of resuming an activity or state after an interruption".
How many of you have had your plans, life, work, family interrupted this year? To renew is to resume.
English Language Learners Dictionary (2020), "The act of extending the period of time when something is effective or valid: The act of renewing something: The state of being made new, fresh, or strong again: The state of being renewed".
Did you think that you lost this time? That something passed you by that was supposed to happen? Leave that to God, if it's meant to happen, it will.
Are you feeling weak, old, stale, and stuck? Don't let that lie continue.
Merriam-Websterd Dictionary (2020), "Transitive verb, 1. to make like new: restore to freshness, vigor, or perfection as we renew our strength in sleep. 2. to make new spiritually: regenerate. 3. to restore to existence: revive.
Those dreams that you thought died, those gifts that you thought would not be used, that strength that you lost, look for it all to be RENEWED!!!
Renewal does not have to mean, the same. It can be new and different, better. Don't limit God by forming your idea of what it looks like. Go with what He says, what He shows you. You may have new doors open. Pray and seek His face.

Isaiah 40:31, "Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary" (New American Standard Bible).
Do not give up, do what is right, wait on the Lord. Do not listen to the lies of the enemy, and the fear and confusion. I know that this year has been one thing after the other, but hold on to God's hand. Rest in the promises He has given you.
Psalms 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me". (NASB).
We must not be pulled into the wickedness going on around us. The enemy is pulling people right and left, here and there, but we know that good wins, God has overcome.
Psalms 51:12, "Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit" (NASB).
Psalms 23:3, "He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake" (NASB).
REMEMBER!
Romans 12:2, "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect" (NASB).
Renewal is coming:
Strength Renewed
Health Renewed
Faith Renewed
Courage Renewed
Sight Increased
Hearing Increased
Vision and clarity......
Look to God, praise His name, find your joy in Him. Turn away from evil and give yourself fully to God. He will renew you....it's coming!
I will leave you with this, if you doubt that you are worthy,
Titus 3:5, "He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit" (NASB).
PRAISE GOD with all you have and all that you are!!! Breakthrough is coming!
