Have You Chosen?

What is to come of those of you who have been so blinded by the carrots dangled before you in way of approval of your immoral acts or promises of financial increase? Those who have forgotten about the acts of history that prove those dangling the carrots care nothing about you or your needs but only of their greed and need for power.

And you as you feed your need for acceptance and security only to find that you are not safe in their care nor are you genuinely accepted only exploited by their agenda to use your influence and what money you have to build them a platform to turn their backs on you and spit in your faces.

What does God say of the immorality that has been pushed down our throats? What of good and evil?

“ Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God” 3 John 1:11 (New American Standard Bible, 1995). How can good be defined as wrong and immorality be defined as right? “Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good” Romans 12:9 (NASB).

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” Ephesians 6:12 (NASB). Therefore it is not to fight man, but the evil that motivates him to move in ways that are against God. Even if the one who is moving against God is us. The war is with Satan and all that he stands for, all that he pushes at us from every side.

“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me, declares the Lord” Isaiah 54:17 (NASB). Those who are in the Lord….

Will you all be brave enough to continue on the present road, not looking back to the catastrophes in the past that were the results of these acts in another time? Will you put your trust in man or God? Who holds your future? Do you believe that man has the answer that you are seeking? “Evil men do not understand justice, But those who seek the Lord understand all things” Proverbs 28:5 (NASB).

“Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him” Isaiah 30:18 (NASB).

He loves you too much to leave you in your sorrows, desperation, pain, and loss. But have you turned your back on Him? Have you taken your eyes off of Him and given your allegiance to someone else? The ultimate gift was already given for you….yes, you! Jesus, King of all creation, Lord of Lords, gave his lifeblood while in human form, enduring suffering too much for you to understand, to save you from your sin and death as a result. Is your life bringing you peace? Do you have joy? If not, why are you not moving toward something that will? Even in a fallen world where bad things happen, we can find peace and joy in Jesus.

Who else will carry your burden for you, walk with you every step of the way, and never leave you? No matter what your perception of the situation is now or may have been in your past, Jesus was and is there. He loves you deeply. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight” Proverbs 3:5-6 (NASB).

None of us are perfect, but we desire to move in that direction. God loves us right where we are! Don’t give up. Keep pressing through, this is a time of birthing new things in the Spirit. A time of increase. A time of change. There is a windfall coming, the water is about to break. We are about to give birth to something amazing in the earth by the hand of God. Do not grow weary. I will leave you with this,

“Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired. They will walk and not become weary” Isaiah 40:31 (NASB).

With Love,

Charissa
