You are being formed by God

Some time ago God showed me that many of His people are being formed to be used by Him. While that is always the case, the battle has intensified lately and the image that I saw when He spoke this to me was a sword. While I know that the sword of the Lord is the Word I understood this to mean that the fires and trials that we have been through have been doing awesome work in the spirit realm.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ", 1 Peter 1:3-7 (NKJV).

Through these difficulties, He is tempering us by fire, as a swordsmith tempers the blade for strength, endurance, and to hold a sharpened edge. We are being strengthened, sharpened, formed, and purified to fit the Father's hand for this battle. To war and worship, to heal and love, to lift up the name of Jesus in a dark, but beautiful time of the revelation of God's power.

Do not believe that you are forgotten, lost beyond hope, or all alone. Many are in the fire with you and most important Jesus is there as well. Just like He was in the book of Daniel,

24 "Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?”

They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.”

25“Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God." Daniel 3:24-25 (NKJV).

Lift up your eyes and see the Lord of all creation walking with you through whatever you are pressing through. Keep going, do not stop now! The time for victory is at hand!!

Keep your eyes on him like Peter did in Matthew 14:29 when he walked on water with Jesus. It was when he took his eyes off Jesus and began to focus on his situation that he had fear and doubt and fell into the water.

Do not fear the trial, Focus on the God of all creation. You are being formed for His hand!
