We are but dust!

ree

I feel prompted to share something that I was just given during prayer. Last Friday during a time of intercession I saw a great dark cloud and with it a giant fire-breathing dragon that was flying about tormenting people, they are deception. There have been many things that seem heavy in the spirit realm lately. It has weighed on me. I felt led to pray against this deception and it was not a hard prayer, I simply prayed what I felt led to pray. This brought me to a lesson that The Holy Spirit had for me. A lesson like others that can be heard, repeated, taught, and understood on a level, but complete understanding comes from The Holy Spirit and I am thankful that He gives deeper understanding. Our confidence is in Him. (See Philippians 3:3-4). We are but dust (Ecclesiastes 3:20) and God's creation from dust. Dust that Jesus died a painful death to save out of love. What happens in the things that we are assigned to is because of His faithfulness to perform His work, His plan. He gave dust --His creation-- who He calls sons and daughters-- authority to act on His behalf, but we rest in Him and not our own knowledge or strength, as He is our confidence. God is unable to lie, He is truly faithful. We do not place our confidence in ourselves or in our ability to perform what He assigns us to. Remove the pressure, the work is not ours, it is His. We are but dust. We must submit as the work of His hand--tools for His use as He sees fit. Rest as you submit, obey, and be earnest in your search for God, but the plans and the works are His. If you begin to believe that they are yours, you can take on the weight and try to make things happen. Flow with the Holy Spirit, do as He says. Know that the battle is the Lord's, it is won. We do fight, but we are in Him, never to fight alone. We are but dust covered in the blood of Jesus...He is the all in all. This may be an old lesson, one we have heard...but I needed to remember to rest in Him and not take the weight on. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light.

In His love,

Charissa
