Are you "Woke" or "Awake"?

As I was reading Revelations 3:3 for a prayer I was writing the Lord gave me a revelation. Wow! "So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you."
God highlighted "wake up" and showed me that this statement is a sign of the time we are in. The enemy creates a counterfeit of what God does and says. He twists things around-- hence the problem of good being called evil and evil being called good. Isaiah 5:20 says, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil' who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!".(NASB)
It is no accident or coincidence that the "woke" movement is called by that name! The enemy has shown his hand and revealed the times because he used what God meant for truth "wake up" "repent" and called it "woke" in association with things that directly defy God's Word.
Titus 1:13 says, "This testimony is true, for this reason, reprove them severely so that they may be sound in their faith." (NASB) The Cretans needed correcting to be sound in faith and the same is true today of the "woke" movement if there of people of faith who have fallen for the lies of the enemy. For those who have ears to hear the truth and eyes to see what is righteous--"But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears because they hear." Matt 13:16 (NASB)
Do not be "woke" and walk in darkness by a counterfeit of the enemy that calls evil good and good evil, but "wake up" to the truth in God's word and see what Revelations says about the days we are living in. As I began to type this out, God also brought to my attention that Rev. 3:3 points out that if you do not "wake up" you will not know when He will come to you. The intoxicating sleep of the lies and blindness that is caused by the great deception keeps those who believe it in darkness, fumbling around unaware of what time they are in. That is how they are taken by surprise as they would by a thief, thinking that they are safe when in fact they are not.
Return to your first love, Rev 2:4-5 "But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place--unless you repent." (NASB) That was to the church. Are you walking in Jesus' footsteps? Following His ways? Ask The Holy Spirit to help you, no one can do it alone. That is why we have the Helper, the Comforter the Holy Spirit.
For those who have been in darkness and never seen the truth...receive truth and freedom from the bondage of the sin that weighs you down. "Now the Lord is Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty" II Cor 3:17 (NASB) "And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." John 8:32 (NASB) "So if the Son (Jesus) makes you free, you will be free indeed." John 8:36 (NASB) That is good news! No one can be free without Jesus. We all need Him, daily, minute by minute!
WAKE UP-- The time is at hand!
Mark 1:15, "...The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe in the gospel." (NASB)
For those who have ears, let them hear, and those who have eyes, let them see.
In His Love,
Charissa
